Kind of research: basic research in the methodology of osteopathic scientific research.
Study-design: litterature review and design of a computer program.
Questions asked: What anamnetic data have to be necessarily incorporated into a computer program for the osteopathic practice, so that they can be used afterwards in retrospective file studies.
In a larger perspective: there is a search for an adapted computer program in function of anamnesis, diagnosis and treatment. This has to be a guide for the osteopath, so that all informations concerning the patient and the applied treatment can be kept together.
There is already a similar research been carried out in The Netherlands.
