Research Projects
CURRENT BASIC RESEARCH PROJECTS
Pressure in the human body (project) Starting from scientific ideas, we are looking here for an answer to the question concerning the role of different kinds of pressure in the human body with regard to function and disfunction. Here we have to look in the first place for the systems responsible for pressure and for regulation of pressure in the human body. Then, after confirmation of the importance of that pressure for function and disfunction, investigations have to show us in which way the osteopath can influence these systems of pressure. For that purpose many investigations can be made. This means that a plan has to be drawn up in order to make these investigations in a co-ordinated way. Connective tissue as a basic bioregulating system (project) Starting from scientific ideas of the biological medicine (Pischinger, Heine,...) we are looking here for an answer to the question concerning the role of the connective tissue in function of one of the basic priciples of osteopathy, i.e. the body’s self-regulating and self-healing possibilities. Biotypology (project)
Biotypology is an objective, clinical approach, that allows a better understanding of the anatomical, physiological, metabolic and energetic functioning of the human being. Every patient has his personal reactions and adaptation possibilities, that influence the osteopathic diagnosis, the choice of treatment techniques and the estimation of the short- and longterm treatment results. |
